I bought a 4 year old well bred Connemara mare in 2020. A few months later (despite not being picked up at a 5 star vetting), she was diagnosed with Juvenile Osteoarthritis in her hocks. Long story short, I maxed out my insurance and all my savings on several operations and injections. I was heart broken. I had bought her to have fun in my retirement. But the future now looked bleak. Three different people told me to have her put down, as she would not be a happy field ornament. The thought gave me depression.

I changed vets, who encouraged me to continue to ride and have fun with her, as long as she was comfortable. He tried a new medication. He also suggested I try an ArcEquine, which I duly bought. I was desperate to keep my beautiful mare. I try to use to Arc Equine regularly, as my work allows. My mare loves coming into the stable for the 3 hours. She goes to sleep whilst the ArcEquine is on. She is forward going and loves being out & about. That’s all I can ask. I am going to continue to have fun with her as long as I possibly can. And no, I am never going to put her down.

I believe the ArcEquine has given my mare a future she didn’t have before.
