A 53-year-old female had a scan of her shoulder that showed a tear on the rotator cuff and impingement of shoulder bursar, as well as compromised spinal discs C4-C7 (also had numerous x-rays). She tried steroid injections into the bursar and then waited 3 months. This was not helping so the doctor recommended for the bursar to be removed. An open appointment with the consultant 22 months after the initial injury showed injury was 50% better than the day after the trauma. Mucking out was very painful, and she also suffered from tennis elbow in both arms. She was unable to raise her arm above shoulder height and had numerous chiropractor and sports massage treatments.
She started the Arc treatment 22 months after initial trauma injury, 6 months after steroid injection. 4 weeks into treatment and she was totally pain free. She had full rotation of the shoulder, was going to start swimming and try to go back to tennis.
