My mother purchased the Arc4Health after we had great success with the Arc Equine with our horses. Mum was allowed to borrow an Arc4Health while shopping at Your Horse Live one year and liked it so bought one.
I had a tonsillectomy at the age of 25 on 18th February 2025. I wore the Arc4Health twice a day for 2 weeks post-surgery and, every time I put it on (using programme 1), I felt a reduction in pain and, for the first week, I mostly slept with it on, only being awoken by the beep at the end of the programme. I didn’t put it on at the same time as taking any oral pain relief so I am certain that the Arc4Health provided a significant reduction in pain as well as promoting healing. On day 11 post Op, I spent a full day at the NEC for the National Equine Show and was able to talk fluently, something my surgeon expected another week to happen due to the healing in my throat effectively paralysing the back of my tongue.
I am a sceptic when it comes to things I can’t physically see working and to things I don’t quite understand. But what I do understand is that the Arc4Health sped up my post-surgery healing and reduced my pain to the point I was able to sleep comfortably.
To anyone who isn’t convinced that the Arc4Health works, I wasn’t convinced either but the positive effect it had on my pain levels and healing post-surgery had me looking forward to my ‘Arc Time’ more than my (strong!) pain medication time!
