We had a pony that had an operation for a splint removal. He was put on box rest, I decided to purchase the ARC because I felt it would help him by escalating the healing time etc and help his circulation in general. The operation was successful and the problem did not re-occur.
Over the years, I have used the ARC for several other issues. Our horse developed EMS and associated Laminitis – he had a slight rotation – 2%. I used the ARC for him and when the vet came to re x-ray him after 4 weeks, the rotation was not even visible and he was sound. I believe a brilliant farrier and the ARC were the determining factors.
What I really appreciated is when I used it for the first time, I called for help and re-assurance. The office staff were really supportive, made a treatment plan for me etc and when I used it for the EMS induced laminitis, I called again to check settings, I received a call back almost immediately – and that was on a Saturday! Just a brilliant support team to help you is so reassuring and very appreciated.
It is my immediate go to – anytime I have to deal with any injury – I use the ARC in tandem. I can’t say anything negative about it – in fact – I bought another one!
