Return to Case Studies

Previously I have used a friend’s ARC to treat Archie’s first DDFT injury in 2018. 6 weeks of the programme he was sound enough to give 12 months off in a field as per my vet’s instruction (my vet never divulged how severe the injury was, but the prognosis of him being ridden again was very sketchy). 12 months later I started bringing Archie back into work under a very experienced friend, breeder and ex jockey and go ahead from my vet. Sadly Archie re-injured his leg whilst turned out making him intermittently lame, eventually he was so lame I called the vet out thinking I would have to say goodbye to him. The day the vet came out, he was totally sound. It was then I decided to give the ARC another go – so I bought my own, making use of the finance option as I have been bled dry with vets’ bills! Archie is now totally sound in walk and trot on soft ground at the end of the 6 week treatment again, and we are now continuing use for his sarcoids (very advanced and extensive). Archie is bopping around like a foal again, for all he’s only 12 he was very depressed 2 months ago. The ARC has saved his life. Thank you to all at ArcEquine, from the bottom of mine and Archie’s hearts!!
