Return to Case Studies

Originally purchased the ArcEquine for preventative measures, for use on competition horses, I had been recommended the ARC to aid tissue recovery, and to have on the yard as a very handy piece of kit if needed.

However our mare had a large swelling of bursery fluid on her hind leg, this had been present for over a year with no issues, she had been checked by the vet, it had been scanned and we had been advised to leave it alone as it was not causing any lameness issues. It was however increasing in size with workload and I was getting increasingly worried about the size.

She started the initial 6 week cycle of the ARC and by the start of week 6 the swelling had completely disappeared, she was still eventing and training on firm ground, no changes in her routine apart from using the ARC. She uses the ARC as part of her weekly routine and the swelling has not returned.
