I brought my ArcEquine for my filly who was due to have sarcoid removal surgery.
When my filly returned from surgery she had deep open laser wounds and a sarcoid by her eye that had a chemo injection and cream applied to the outside every other day. I am quite sure that the Arc has helped to quicken the healing process and help to manage her pain relief. She has been very tolerant of all the treatment. It has taken nearly 2.5 months for the eye sarcoid to erupt out of the skin and fall out. The skin underneath looks really healthy and recovering well.
It is a very easy piece of equipment to use, it is light weight, its charge lasts for a long time. I might charge it once a week. (I use it every day, whilst my filly is recovering) It turns itself off after each cycle, so I don’t need to worry if I need to go out for a bit. I just apply a bandage over it to protect it from my filly’s curiosity! It also comes with a user booklet, gel and leg strap that it sits in on the horses leg.
When I was unsure about which phase to use when my filly’s sarcoid fell out,(after the recommended treatment plan stated in the booklet), the Arc team were at the end of an email and promptly gave me their guidance. So there is always someone there to help with any after care advice.
Buy with confidence, this is a great piece of kit, with a great back up team!
I’m even thinking of getting the human version!
