My horse was diagnosed with OCD in her hock and stifle. She had an operation to remove the bone fragments but I was told she might come sound and the swelling may go down but no guarantee of recovery from the OCD. Vet recommended box rest for two weeks then turn out and see what happens.
She was still suffering from OCD and hobbling lame so vet had said to turn her out in field and forget about her. If she is still bad next summer we would have to look at putting her to sleep.
An ArcEquine was rented for 6 weeks. Within 3 weeks of using ArcEquine the OCD was treated, she was sound and is now careering round the field like a youngster should.
