I can’t recommend this enough. My horse shows mechanical laminitis one month after buying him a year ago. X-rays confirmed and he was on box rest. Heart bars on and literally not out of the box. I had him blood tested for ems as when he came he was very fat. Tests unsurprisingly came back positive. I went into investigation mode and called every feed company going researching day and night into feeds that are labelled as safe for laminitis or ems sufferers. Sadly I found 99% were definitely not safe for my boy! After years with horses I was so upset by this. Two months into box rest there was little improvement on his feet but changing his feed was making massive improvements to his weight. This is when I tried the arc. A friend had one and I thought I would try. Within a month he was walking sound but remained on box rest. His box rest totalled 6 months. Soul destroying after only just buying your dream horse. Eventually we got there. But then he developed a large tumour between his back legs. So large that it was deemed inoperable and my vets words were “Louise.. how attached to this horse are you? Because he isn’t going to make it ”

This was April 13th

I immediately broke down. Heartbroken once more. However I took one look and decided I couldn’t lose anything by trying the arc again. I religiously followed the programme. I couldn’t ride as it was too painful for him. The pictures show a more real story. He was very sore and generally unhappy. On his birthday and mine at the beginning of May..I arrived to him to find the tumour hanging off by a thread of skin. I panicked as the vets said if it did come out the infection control would be impossible because of its location. I raced to the vets and got antibiotics. Within a week my boys wound was healing!!

After all these month of box rest. Then the tumour. The life ending diagnosis… we rather stupidly went for a last hurrah in July. Only our second ever show. A HOYS qualifier for the SEIB Search for a star. We only went and qualified first time out. Even better we went to HOYS in the finals and was called “absolutely top class” by the judges.

Dreams can come true and miracle horse and I have arc and my vets to thank. Officially a true Cinderella story!

On another note.. I have aggressive sle lupus and kidney failure. Because of Toms success I have started sharing his magic box with him. He wears it in the day and I wear it at night.

I’m hoping for another miracle for me.

But if I don’t get one.. I have already won. My boy is here. We went to hoys and we love each other more than ever.

The staff at arc have been amazing and I have now got 6 friends who have purchased an arc because of Toms story.

I tell everyone to use it.

Couldn’t recommend it anymore if I tried.
