I fractured my fibula, posterior malleolus as well as a small tear to the syndesmosis and completely rupturing all ligaments in my foot.

The fibula was surgically pinned and plated back together and an Arc machine was bought! Roll on 5 weeks later and I’ve just seen the surgeon again who said everything looked fantastic and to crack on as normal – I walked out of there in a normal trainer last night and have just ridden the horses this morning!

I have been pain free since 3 days post op and haven”t been in any pain even when allowed to be PWB and FWB. At my first and second follow ups at 10 days and 3 and 5 weeks post both surgeon and nurse were amazed I barely had any swelling at all, no pain, decent range of movement and how fantastic my scar and skin looked.

I’ve used it daily and after talking to others with similar fractures who didn’t use the arc I should have been in a lot more pain and definitely not up on my feet at this point!

So glad I bought one.
