Breed: TB x Connemara
My horse suffered from bilateral lameness of the front feet. He was diagnosed with collateral ligament damage. The vet suggested trying Performance Leverage Reduction (PLR) shoes, and continuing with normal exercise as he had already had time off.
I started the ArcEquine on the treatment protocol for injuries, to try and help the ligament damage heal. After 1 month he was showing signs of improvement and at his next shoeing, he was able to go into natural balance shoes. I continued him with work which included grid work once a week.
After 6 weeks on the ArcEquine, he was looking almost completely sound. His ligament damage has continued to improve and he moves with much more freedom and jumping well. I am now using ArcEquine as a maintenance programme.
