My horse was recovering from kissing spine surgery and previously had had psd , DDFT /collateral ligament injuries. He has regular treatments from a Mctimothy Chiropractor but I also wanted something to help in between visits.
We did the initial 6 weeks using the arc equine and then continued on a Maintenance of between 2/3 per week .
We started competing again after covid (2021) qualified for My Quest regionals, and Winter Pet Plans, and received our first novice points. Sadly, just before Christmas of 2021 Corny sustained a field injury, which resulted in box rest, steroids and shock wave. Again the arc equine was used to aid recovery. Corny was coming back into work during February 2022 but sadly in the March I was diagnosed with cancer. So we didn’t manage to get out competing again until summer 2023, where we won our section at BD and we achieved a number of ribbons in Concours D’elegance.
