We have a Sports horse who suffered deep flexion tendon injury 4 years ago – she could hardly walk and vet said she would not ride again – but we nursed her back and she did ride again, hacking, schooling etc – in November 2024 she managed to injure herself again – vet scanned her and yes she had tweaked it again although not as bad as the first time – she is now on box rest – although she was ok in walk she wasn’t in trot – we were advised to start a rehab programme of 5 mins gentle walking daily and to build walking time up gradually – that is when we decided to buy an Arc Equine machine – we have used this alongside the rehab programme recommended and alongside the guidelines as stated in the booklet – so far so good – she is showing great improvement. Machine is easy to use and comfortable for the horse. I would highly recommend this machine although expensive I don’t mind as long as it improves our girl, also accessories are quickly received when ordered.
