Gromit was diagnosed with a tear in his deep digital flexor tendon the size of a 50p piece.

This tear was on the side of his tendon so it does not have borders, which meant he was not a candidate for PRP therapy and his chances of a full recovery were non-existent. The aim was to get him back as a hacking horse, and we were given a 50% chance of that. The vet said that even with him having the surgery all they would be doing would be clearing around the injury and trying to promote healthy scar tissue growth. With this treatment he would be on box rest for a minimum of 8 weeks. With this all in mind I opted to leave him, rescan him every three months and see.

I started the AE on the 1st of August 2016.

The AE reduced the swelling around the fetlock joint, straight away he seemed more himself. I am using the AE for 3 hrs every day.

We have just had our three month scan, 12 weeks from starting the AE and the diagnosis is that the hole in his tendon is GONE!!!! Gromit is now expected to make a full recovery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My vet was very interested in the AE and told me to keep using it as it is definitely helping him.

We have always struggled with Gromit’s weight and since using the AE his weight is better and his general well being is much better. His hoof growth is also significantly better.

I LOVE MY ARCEQUINE – I can honestly say that I don’t think I would be where I am today without it. In 12 weeks my horse’s tendon hole is 100% gone with no box rest, no bute and no surgery!! I will always use it on all my horses from now on to help top up their health.
