I am a left leg below knee amputee for the past 25years.<\/p>\n
In the last year or so I started having extreme nerve pain, felt like electric shocks deep inside my stump. The pain was so bad I was not sleeping even with sleeping pills I was also taking tramadol and other potions. I also had surgery to remove five cysts and a course of steroids which only seemed to aggravate things. I was at a Blesma (military charity for limbless veterans) meeting when I heard some other amputee’s talking about arc4you. I asked what it was all about and I found that there was at least another two suffering the same symptoms as me and were having great success with this machine. I was so desperate at this point and was ready to try anything to get some relief from the pain and lack of sleep.<\/p>\n
After purchasing the Arc I was rigid with following the instructions and after about ten days noticed a change in the pain. Just seemed different and unbelievably, after about fifteen days I was cutting down on the medication and pain free apart from the odd shock in my stump which lasted seconds.<\/p>\n
