The kidney trauma would likely take 6 months to heal &#8211; no treatment after initial extended course of antibiotics.<\/p>\n<p>Full range of movement in broken (plated wrist) has returned. Full use of thumb following the tendon transfer and kidney is fully healed in 5 months as opposed to the 8 to 12 months the consultant suggested.<\/p>\n<p>I recommend it to everyone; my friend is currently hiring one for her horse who has a tendon injury and her dog who has a pelvis injury.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was told that most wrist movement should return but will take 12 weeks post-surgery and could be limited.
